Let's be honest - the first one is the worst.
Your body doesn't know what's happening, so its reaction can be all over the board.
You might have a high pain tolerance, and so don’t think too much about what’s happening during the appointment. Or maybe you've read so much about Brazilians and are so nervous that when you get to the actual appointment and the process begins, you look around and are like, “Wait. Is this all there is? I thought it would be worse.”
But you also could get sweaty and hyperventilate.
Or break into uncontrollable laughter. You could gasp and lose your train of thought now and again. Or even cry. Perhaps you'll just go quiet and close your eyes.
If you have a good provider, they'll make it as easy as possible for you...no matter your reaction. You’ll be asked to change your leg positions as necessary, and then you'll turn to your side for the bum crack.
That all said, by the time you have 2-3 Brazilians within a reasonable period of time, you’ll notice how much easier and more comfortable you are. As your hair becomes more fine and thin, and any callouses that’ve built up are repaired since you’re not shaving…Brazilians actually become very quick and easy. Many even find them relaxing!
For more on what a “reasonable amount of time” is, I’ll be back next week.
Happy Friday -

PS - if you're looking for Removal Formula, it's back in stock! it comes in a fun new jar, too. Just pop it in the dishwasher once you've used all the sugar and you'll have an excellent canning/storage/display container. It's even oven safe up to 350 F, and the full-size container is shaped like a mini bundt pan.
PPS - Turning to your side for bum crack hair removal is a sugaring-specific position. If you choose to get waxed, you may be required to get on all fours or pull your knees to your ears.
