Try a thing you haven't done three times. Once, to get over the fear of doing it. Twice, to learn how to do it. And a third time to figure out whether you like it or not. -- Virgil Thompson
Ready to try a Brazilian?
Good. Great. That's excellent news.
But let's just be real here: the first one sucks.
You'll wonder why anyone gets them done. You'll question your friendships and those who say "they don't hurt at all."
Schedule your next two Brazilians anyway.
You'll vow never to get one again.
But once the surprise "special kind of pain" wears off, and the tenderness subsides, you'll be amazed.
So smooth. So silky. So sensitive.
It's a bit shocking, really.
The lack of hair (and slow hair regrowth) is spectacular.
But you'll remember the pain of the experience, and you won't want to go back.
You need to, though. Go back in three weeks (which is the ideal length of time for sugaring), and get your second one.
Because with the second one...even though you're a bit nervous walking in...you get to feel the true speed and ease that's possible. You'll fly through the appointment, nerves and all, and be a little (ok, a lot) surprised at how different the visit was.
Less hair and less sweat. Less nervous energy. Less unknown
And the recovery time! Less than half of the first one.
The difference between your first and second Brazilians is miraculous.
By your third Brazilian, you're basically a professional. You know what to expect. You can talk during the Brazilian like it's not actually happening (and you're not actually pantsless).
Best of all, you can walk away knowing whether you'll become a Brazilian regular. The fear is gone and all that's left is the ability to rationally and and factually discuss your results with anyone who asks.
You'll know whether you like them or not.
So. Now. When you're really ready to try a Brazilian...you know what to do. Schedule three: one for your first, the second three weeks later, and the third three weeks after that. Then report back - are they for you?
